1891 telegraphic code for keeping character-limited messages short. Love it. I have already tweeted a version of the subject line here, and I might just spend all day thinking up new ones.

Update: Bitch Ph.D.’s M. LeBlanc saw that tweet and replied, “@KateHarding I read ‘cervicide crap’ as ‘cervical cap’ and ‘slank’ as ‘skank.’  i.e. People who use contraception are whores!” Yikes! Perhaps I should have chosen less easily confused code words.
